Han Solo role play vest - '83 Official Star Wars Fan Club

Original role-play Han Solo vest sold through the Lucasfilm Official Star Wars Fan Club in the 1980s. These jackets are all unused stock from when the fan club folded in 1987. 

We are selling these as collectibles, so if buying these for someone to wear please review sizing information and ask any questions before buying. We will not accept returns based purely on these not meeting specific size needs. We have posted what we believe are the most relevant dimensions, but let us know if you need clarification.

Although the fan club produced adult sizes, these are mostly children's sizes. The largest sizes are marked "JS," which based on the measurements seems to be what the fan club described as "Big Boys" sizing, but it's not clear to me what the official size designation should be.

Having produced these over several years, it appears the fan club used different vendors to produce these over time, or at least the material used by the production vendor changed. There are three fairly distinct material differences that I have observed. Most are a heavy canvas material that is not deeply black. Some of the JS size jackets are a similar feel of material, but a much more distinct black color. Finally, some of the smaller size jackets are not only a darker black, but the material are a softer finish material that is a bit more supple than the standard canvas. Not a major difference for some, but for the variant hunters the differences seemed different enough to note.
